Day 65 Staturday + Elliptical

Every Saturday while on the T25 program, you document your stats.  This is a great way to see your progress. I love seeing how much my hard work is paying off.  I have decided to now reveal my stats until I complete the first 5wks of the Alpha program. 

Was heading to Michigan this morning, so didn't have a lot of time for a detailed workout.  As a result, I hopped onto my elliptical for 25 minutes.  Cause we all should have at least 25 minutes to take care of ourselves.

Day 64 Total Body Circuit and Abs Interval

I won't lie.  These 2 DVDs are my least favorite.  I struggle.  They leave me feeling weak.  Why??  Because they focus a lot on my problem area... My CORE!!  I have got to get my core tighter.  But the torment of making it happen stresses me.  I need to find a happy place where doing core exercises isn't too painful for me.  


I just keep telling myself 1 crunch and plank hold at a time!!

Day 63 T25 Cardio

Today I did T25 cardio and nailed it.  Starting to feel stronger and I love it.  


T25 will definitely help you get your body right it you just FOCUS!!  Just commit to 
taking care of yourself and your body!!

Day 62 Lower Focus/High Intensity Cardio

Today I did a high intensity cardio class at my gym.


 I then came home and did T25 Lower Focus.  My legs were on fire, but I got it down.  #365daysoffitness Day 62

I've been lazy regarding updating this blog, so now it's time to play catch up.

T25 Week 2 Did a cardio resistance training class at my gym, followed by T25 Speed 1.0

Never be afraid to sweat.  It's just weakness leaving your body.  Today I took my week 2 stats for T25.  Then I went to my gym and did 45min elliptical, 15min stairmaster, and 30min free weights. 

Day 59 (8/25)


T25 week 2 stretch.  My body needed this. 

Day 60 (8/26)


60 days of consecutive workouts. I'm so proud of myself. Today I did a cardio class at my gym and burned 501 calories.   Then that night I did T25 week 3 Total body circuit and burned 181 calories. I have a love hate relationship with this DVD.  Thank goodness it's only 25min.

And to celebrate 60 days consecutive working out, I took a trip to LuLuLemon and got myself some new workout clothes. 



Day 61 (8/27)


61 days ago, I selfishly decided to start this #365daysoffitnesd as a birthday gift to myself.  I decided to take a pic of myself working out everyday, and post it to Facebook as a way of holding myself accountable.  

Today after receiving an email from a friend, I realized that my selfish act to myself was not selfish at all. 

" Hey Rox!! I just wanted to tell you that you have inspired me to do something with myself. I am 48 and hormonal and I have put an extra 30 pounds on in the past year. I am enmbarking on a journey to shed the weight, eat right and change my lifestyle. Thanks for providing me with the motivation to get  moving. 😊"

I'm thankful to all those whom I've inspired, and who continue to inspire me.

Day 50 An IMPORTANT Milestone

8/16/2013

Today marked Day 50 of my #365daysoffitness challenge. To highlight this important milestone, I decided to jog a challenging hill.  For me this is "my" challenge, "my" journey towards being more physically fit and accountable to "my" body. Tackling this hill for me represents progress. Progress I've made in these 50 days. It's all about consistency, being focused, surrounding yourself with positive/supportive energy, and remembering that it's not a race, but a JOURNEY to the top. 


I had a very full day on Friday.  Got to go out with my friends Jennie and Tasha, and enjoy dinner at Eddie Merlot's. 


But after dinner, I had to complete my Shaun T T25 Lower Focus and Cardio. 


I was dead tired after!!!

Day 49 Ab Intervals

Now this is what I need. A workout that focuses on abs.  From the pic I posted on Monday it is clear my abs need some work:


So based upon seeing these pics, you knew I was up for the challenge.  I didn't die, but man were my abs sore during and after. 


Rocketman....Now that was a killer position.
